Baskonia has strengthened its roster with the signing of Lithuanian forward Gytis Radzevicius, who has left Rytas Vilnius. The 30-year-old forward was one of the players that Barcelona showed interest in this past summer, after his impressive performances in the Basketball Champions League. Radzevicius has agreed to join Baskonia until the end of the season, with an option to extend his contract for another year. The 1.97-meter-tall forward has been a key player for Rytas, leading the team to the final of the Lithuanian league last season. This season, Radzevicius has been averaging 11.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2 assists, with a 44% three-point shooting percentage, earning him 14.8 points in the BCL. Baskonia hopes that Radzevicius will be available for Paolo Galbiati in the coming days. It is expected that Radzevicius will undergo a medical examination in the coming days.
